Environment Control Officer (ECO)
Monitoring construction sites for conditions or circumstances that are causing or are likely to cause environmental health issues is the responsibility of an Environmental Control Officer (ECO). To stop a recurrence, ECO should advise the contractor on corrective measures and notify them of these circumstances. Disease-carrying insects and rodents, appropriate disposal of construction waste and marine clay, air and noise pollution, ground littering, clogged drains, unsanitary conditions in canteens, and any other environmental health issues are the main areas where the ECO should focus its efforts.
According to Singapore's National Environment Agency's (NEA) code of practice, construction sites must hire an Environmental Control Officer (ECO) to supervise all construction activities.

An Environmental Control Officer: What Is It?
Environmental control officers are in charge of making sure the environment is shielded from contaminants and other problems that could endanger human health. An ECO looks for circumstances that could cause pollutants, toxins, and disease-carrying insects and animals to be released into the environment. They can work in a variety of fields, including government, industry, food, hospitality, and construction. Academic credentials and a National Environment Agency (NEA) license are prerequisites for becoming an ECO.

Our qualified ECO will:
Manage rodents and disease-carrying vectors.
Create the environmental program and submit it.
aid in the appropriate handling and elimination of solid waste.
Reduce the pollution caused by dust and noise.
Manage the project's or site's general housekeeping.
Reduce air and water pollutants, as well as drainage and slit issues.
