Need of Business Under Surveillance (BUS) Program
A Business Under Surveillance (BUS) Programme is a systematic intervention tool to improve the performance of poor-performing companies by focusing on developing and implementing a robust safety and health management system.
In order to participate in the BUS program, a company must:
- Be involved in fatal accidents
- Displayed poor work safety management (such as poor building conditions that led to Stop Work Orders)
- Derived demerit points.
