OT Audit - OverTime Exemption Audit

The objective of the Overtime Exemption Audit is to assess risk levels of work activities in a company that is required to be carried out over time further on 12 hours a day.

No. of man-days is very Individual and for some small SMEs, we will complete the audit in 0.5 days also. This audit is suitable for those companies who are applying for Overtime Exemption.

The inspection will be conducted by the MOM Approved Risk Consultant employed by MOM Approved Risk Consultant Company. The audit covers report review, site investigation on verifying the implementation of risk control measures, and conference of key personnel.

To certify that risk assessment has taken into consideration:

  • The length of extended working hours.
  • The types of work and workload of employees and involve, where relevant, adjusted showing limits to chemical/noise and assessment of heat pressure and manual facts lifting. 
  • The risk level takes into account all implemented risk management measures. Upon going through the risk register, the curve will endorse the risk register as long as he is fulfilled and confirmed that all work activities carried out over time involve “Low Risk” and no part of the activities listed under Annex A of Overtime Exemption Application Form are carried out over time.
