Preparation for the GGBS assessment
As part of the BCA's GGBS program, a company has to demonstrate its compliance with specific sustainable and gracious construction practices before being certified. The environmental management and sustainable construction practices have some similarities, but ISO 14000 certification is not equivalent to GGBS certification and cannot be used to exempt from it.
All construction companies are eligible for participation in these programs.
They operate in the construction industry with a significant environmental impact.
At least 3 to 6 months must have elapsed since the company implemented the assessment criteria in its projects. Additionally, for monitoring wastage, energy consumption, water consumption, and TSS readings, the company should maintain at least 3 to 6 months' worth of data.
