Standard First Aid with (CPR(HO) + AED) Course (SFA)
Those who want to learn first aid techniques, such as CPR and AED use, to help others in emergency situations can enroll in a Standard First Aid course. Course Objectives
This course provides the relevant knowledge and skills needed to apply first aid to adult casualties during any medical emergency that might arise and to use the Automated Defibrillator (AED) safely.
Recognise a medical emergency situation.
Adhere to the Emergency Action Principles and turn on the relevant emergency response system.
Understand the telltale signs and symptoms of recognized diseases, injuries, and emergencies.
Treat a casualty with the appropriate first aid according to their injuries, illness, and emergency.
An automated external defibrillator (AED) should be used to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on adult patients.
