An individualized first aid course should be developed for each workplace.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation - CPR

It is a lifesaving medical procedure which is given to someone who is in cardiac arrest. It helps to pump blood around the person's body when their heart can't.

CPR provides oxygen carrying blood to the brain and that heart by manual pumping of the chest and the mouth to mouth artificial respiration. In CPR mouth -to-mouth resuscitation is done.

In certain circumstances, mouth to mouth is still recommended.

But after the covid pandemic mouth to mouth resuscitation is not done nowadays instead we use BVM (bag valve mask) generally known as manual resuscitator or self-inflating bag is used in CPR.
