Course Objective:
This Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant introduces the Process Industry Framework, a generic framework designed for training and skilling workers in this industry and others related to it. A common cross-cutting occupational skill set is provided for employees at all levels across the industry, including the operations, supervisory, and managerial levels. In addition to considering the needs of the industry, qualifications would be designed to provide progression opportunities for workers.

1. Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health legislation, guidelines, and codes of practice and contribute to risk assessments
2. Control hazards by identifying them and taking measures to prevent them
3. Implement a health and safety management system that meets regulatory requirements
