Course Overview
The "Supervise Marine Work for WSH" course, formerly called the "Shipyard Safety Supervisor Course," is intended to give supervisors or coordinators of workplace safety and health (WSH) the information and hands-on training they need to oversee WSH in the maritime sector. Understanding WSH laws, recognizing risks, assessing and managing them, performing safety inspections, and managing incident investigations are the main objectives of the training. It also discusses things like permit-to-work (PTW) processes and the Vessel Safety Coordinating Committee (VSCC). In essence, it equips people to actively oversee WSH procedures in a maritime setting.
