Basic Cardiac Life Support + AED (BCLS+AED) (BCLS ) Course
Course Description
This classroom-based training course will equip learners with the
competencies to provide skills outlined by Singapore Resuscitation and FirstAid Council (SRFAC) in the BCLS+AED Provider Course.
An automated external defibrillator (AED) should be used to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on adult patients.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a BCLS+AED certification (with two years of validity) accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council.
Course Objectives
Demonstrate adult, child, and infant CPR competently.
Use the AED safely and effectively.
Perform Conscious Foreign Body Airway Obstruction Protocol on Adult, Child, and Infant competently.
Perform unconscious foreign body airway obstruction protocol on adults, children, and infants competently.
